The training covered energy-efficient design, green buildings, energy management, legal frameworks, and experiences from Germany and Japan.

Participants gained valuable knowledge to help create a more energy-efficient and sustainable building sector in the future.
The training was organized by Mongolian Association of Construction Designers (MACD) within the framework of the project Energy Performance Contracting for Residential Retrofitting in Ulaanbaatar City project. The project is being implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in cooperation with the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar City (MUB), with funding from the Mitigation Action Facility, the Ministry of Urban Development, Construction and Housing of Mongolia (MUDCH), and the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar City (MUB).
